hello,

greetings,

I want to buy a new router that is superior to my stock router that my ISP gave me.

My budget is 1000 INR = 17 USD.

I want to be able to buy it here in India.

I also require VOIP.

Thank you.

You provided no information about what you're currently running. Without that noone can tell you if getting the RT-N10E will be a waste of money or not.

Looking at the specs of the RT-N10E it seems like a fairly simple low end single stream 802.11n router. The Amazon reviews of it look decent enough so at least it shouldn't be a lemon.

Well according to the specs on the Beetel site, http://www.beetel.in/sites/default/files/pdf/450.pdf,  the RT-N10E will be a better router. The wireless antenna alone is 5dB vs 2dB on the Beetel which means 2x the signal strength (thanks to the logarithmic scale :)  )

Once you get the RT-N10E you will probably want to disable all the routing features of the Beetel 450BXI but you'll need to check with Beetel tech support on how to do that
