How to fix microstuttering?

Hi guys, I've been noticing some microstuttering (small freezes, even in 60FPS) in some games I am playing, and I would like to know how stop it from happening. Any help is appreciated.

 

GPU: EVGA GTX 750 Ti SuperClocked

Driver: 337.88

Connector: VGA

Monitor: HP LV1911

Resolution: 1366 by 768

 

Games: Euro Truck Simulator 2, Assetto Corsa, TrackMania, etc.

No.

I have had that before while playing Euro Truck Simulator and Watch_Dogs, I just restart my computer. 

But I don't know if that is an actual solution, just seemed to work for me. 

And micro-stutter is quite common among Euro Truck Simluator for some reason. 

 

And I always use V-Sync

Could it be your CPU? I know I was doing a little gaming on a Dual core E8400 with a GTX780 (for giggles) playing GRID at 1920X1200. I played VERY little becuase of the "micro stutter". My main rig with a 3770k and a 780Ti at 2560X1600 is butter smooth... 

 

PS: IMO I would refer to it as stutter bc micro stutter generally refers to poor frame latency manifesting itself in multi GPU setups.

Wouldn't be surprised if the CPU is the culprit here

It's not garanteed that it works. Some people have luck with it ans some don't. I, specially, like to have HPET on
