PC SMS message reader/sender for Android

climenuts

Looking for a reliable and easy to use program/app for windows and Android that will allow me to send and receive SMS messages on my computer when my phone is on the same network.

It would be nice if it were easily configurable for when I am out with my laptop on random networks however I will mostly use it at home on my desktop.

I'll give mighty text a try, I think. Does it just have a tab open or?

It does open a tab when you click on it. You get desktop notifications from calls, sms, just like the ones from gmail. It's not always perfect but when the connection is well established, it's pretty cool
