Quietest GTX 770

I am looking for a quiet GTX 770 card to go in a Silverstone rvz01. What would be the quietest option?

How loud would an R9 290 Gigabyte card be comparatively? It is around the same price right now.

Maybe a tad bit louder, but not much louder. The 290 does use more power than a 770 which equals more heat.

hmmm. I want the silence, but the extra performace with such a good deal is so tempting.

Get MSI R9 290 then. The Twin Frozr cooler is great and is pretty quiet.

EVGA ACX 770 vs Gigabyte 290

770 would be cooler and quietter, but the 290 would chew up and spit out most games like a beast... the 770 is more comparable to the 280 and 280x falling somewhere in between but closer to the 280x... 290 being more comparable to well the 290x and 780

You said you wanted the extra performance, sorry. If you can get the Gigabyte 290, good for you, is a good card.
