PLanetSide 2 sucks!

I downloaded it and the first thing you do is make a character then you go into battle no tutorial or anything I spent maybe 30 minutes ingame and only got one kill most of the time was spent walking trying to find people.

In the continent selection screen, there is a VR Training option, this is the tutorial system in planetside 2

You don't need a tutorial.. It's simple. It works just like any other FPS game... If you want to find people look on the map

join the TR, most intuitive & friendly faction, they should help you learn how to play.

Hit M to look at the map and find out where things are happening, the action will probably be along the borders of the territory that your faction is controlling. I've only played it a little bit but I find that not having upgraded weapons is the hardest thing about it, I sit shooting a guy forever and he doesn't die, then he turns around and kills me almost instantly. So I started being a medic and just rezzing people *shrugs*

It is very confusing at first. It took me a couple hours to figure things out by myself. Once you get it though, imo its a fantastic game even more so if you have a steady group.
