Which has better Graphics

Jerakl

So I'm buying a laptop for school right. So the only options for the CPUs are APUs, the A8-5550M or the A10-5750M.

I picked the A10.

Now the GPU options available are iGPU and the HD 8750M.

I want to know if the 8750m is worth the extra 75$ over the A10 5750M graphical performance.

Thoughts?

For the record I posted it here because it's GPU/CPU/APU whatever. IDK where it goes.

This laptop is for school and light gaming.

Thanks!

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

You should get a CPU with the 8750m otherwise the GPU part of the APU is wasted, and it should be cheaper too. If that's not possible then spend the extra 75$, it will make enough difference to be wirth it

the one with the 8750 is better. though i wouldent want to do much gaming on either. don't expect to run games at max.

I'll look at Lenovo's laptops.

oops double post.

Lenovo too expensive, anyone know where I can buy a laptop I can pick the parts for?

I know HP, not many other options yet.

He should look into crossfire with the IGPU if he chooses the Apu as well as a dedicated Gpu.

Having a discrete GPU always help, in my opinion. Plus if you're running an AMD APU laptop with discrete Radeon GPU, don't forget to run them in CrossFire, more performance.
