I built a PC for my friend a few days ago, and everything went great. The only exception to that is the front panel audio connectors aren't working properly...

The Cooler Master N200 case has two connectors for audio - one HD audio plug and an AC'97 plug. We have tried putting both of them in the correct slot on the motherboard but we still get no audio to devices connected to the front panel. Could it be a bad connection? I really hope it isn't because having to RMA the case would be horrid. Audio does work in the back of the motherboard.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Could be something to do with drivers. Make sure they're all up to date.

Also, does the rear audio work? Front audio tends to have a lot of interference and isn't great quality.

EDIT: Ignore that last part. Missed the bit at the end.

I'll see about that. Thanks for the advice.
