Starting a new build for a friend and just wanted a second opinion on it to see if there are any bottlenecks or anything. Please don't make a pc part picker build and post the build that you made saying "better". I will ignore it.

You could drop the power supply a hundred watts, as well as get a smaller ssd and a generously sized hdd?

There are 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Just some helpful stuff: You're - You are, Your - Your car, They're - They are, Their - Their car, There - Over there.

Looks fine. Any reason for a 750W PSU aside from this PSU being a quiet one? I don't know which PSUs are supposedly quiet. Also, why a 500GB SSD? If said friend has a 1TB or similar HDD, then ignore this.

Are 5 fans really that necessary? I have the exact same case, and all I've done is add 2 front intakes, a rear exhaust, a bottom intake, and taken one of the dampening foams off the top. I've not added any exhaust fans on the top.

Bear in mind, the r4 is designed with silence in mind, and fitting all the slots may defeat the purpose. I do have the same fans as you, and in my opinion, the fans aren't all that quiet at 80%+ of the speed.

As for the psu, I believe you can get better for the money. For instance, an EVGA g2 750w retails at a few pounds/dollars less, and it comes with a 10 year warranty. It's also a "tier 1" power supply, and it's fully modular and extremely quiet.

I say the Asus Sabertooth is really a nice to have board

but go cheaper board

if you don't need help then why ask in the first place for advice???

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

You guys are missing the point. Im not asking for help to pick out parts. Im asking if anyone sees a bottleneck or anything

The GTX 770 will be severely bottlenecked by the petty i5-4690K. At least get an i7-4960X or the Pentium G3258.

No, there are no bottlenecks and if there are it's so insignificant that nobody in their right mind would care.

I was gonna say......WHAT?! :D

Well, people have OC'd the Pentium G3258 and it was able to match i5's and I think an i7 in gaming. So...

Also, oranges have good senses of humor unlike these squares.  :P

In games that don't use hyperthreading, my i7 bottlenecks my TIs. In Arma 3 and DayZ, even with SLI off, my GPU never hits 100%. I wouldn't plan on SLI without the hyperthreading. The i5 should be close to even with a single 770.
