Sorry it is in US dollars. I was considering a different cooler that would be as good and about the same price as the hyper since I have tall ram but I can move the fan or raise it up so shouldn't cause an issue with the ram.

I like the way this one looks, the NZXT one looks a bit ugly/plain to me. I know the SPEC-02 size wouldn't allow for the hyper 212 evo. No idea about this one.

EDIT: According to Corsair the Spec-01 supports coolers up to 150mm. I believe the hyper 212 evo is 149mm tall. So yeah that would be cutting it way to close.

There's these: Zalman Z5, Z11 Plus, Z12 Plus, and the Inwin GT1, along with the rest of these on the PCPartPicker list.

The 212 Evo is 159mm tall and not 149.

Ah, for some reason I was thinking of 149 I guess.

How acurate is pcpartpicker's compatibility? Atleast for case and CPU Cooler?

Also I have an old HP case, I was thinking of putting my stuff in it, until I can get a better case and leave the side off because I doubt there would be good airflow in it due to not having any case fans in it. What do you think? Also would be using the stock HS/Cooler until I can get a better CPU cooler too.

Pcparpicker is pretty accurate for cpu cooler clearance.

What parts are you planning to place inside?

It is going to contain xfx 650pro psu Asus r9-280 directcui gigabyte z97sli board(supports crossfire too) DVD writer i5-4670k 1tb wd blue hard drive. Will also contain the hyper 212 evo. I have everything needed except a good case and a good after market cooler. Sorry on a cell phone so harder to type. Currently don't have a monitor but planned to use my tv atm.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/tQfzFT that is my build. I already bought AS Ceramique 2 TIM.

The Source 210 would be fine for that but I wouldn't recommend sticking with an old HP case. Are you planning a new build and is everything not purchased yet?

The aftermarket paste is unnecessary. Keep it for future builds--the 212 Evo comes with good paste.

Just wish I would have thought about the height of my ram.

It's fine. If it's too tall, you can just move the fan to the other side of the heatsink.

I have everything except a good case. I wanted to test it out and see how well it worked and see if I had any DOA items too.

It would be nice to test it, though a little afraid of something happening. Also seems replacing the cpu cooler with a different one could be risky, and a little difficult to remove the heatsink from CPU.
