OK, i can get 2 used 7950's for 280$. Is it worth it, and can it run tripple monitors?

I'd avoid used 7950s atm because of all the mining rig dumping, you'll likely get cards that have been flogged mining for months.

OK.

What is the cheaperst new or used Card(s) To run 3 1600x900 monitors OR 4 1280x1024 monitors OR 3 1920x1080 monitors OR 1 2560 x 1080 monitor

I'd still do it, $140 each, for a couple of powerhouses, even if they die within ...6 months or less, I've spent more money on worse things.

AND.. When they work together, their Beasts in all modern games to date! Stock or not...

Buying cards with some warranty would be the preferred choice however...

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Im running 7950s in xfire and have encountered no bugs or hitches at all. Id say go for it and have fun. They get me great frames with everything maxed. Dont worry about the lifespan, you will replace them before they die in a few (5+) years.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I'm also curious if a single 7950 would be enough to push 1x 1440p monitor or if CF 7950 is needed. I mostly play SC2 so that is pretty much my only requirement. I have three 7950 spread amongst my rigs so when the time comes I am able to do so.
