Hello everyone, was wondering if I could get some help.

Recently I wanted to upgrade my boot drive to a bigger ssd but I have ran into some issue. My storage setup is currently: 500gb HD, 60Gb pyro drive, and a 120gb vertex 3.

The Vertex 3 is the boot drive and I wanted to upgrade it to my new 240gb samsung ssd. I tried cloning the drive with Samsung software however my computer would not boot with it in place of the vertex. Trying to  troubleshoot it I unplugged all my hard drives except for the vertex 3 but it was still unable to boot. The only way I am able to boot into windows is if I plug back all the drives into the original config with the original sata cables.

I was wondering if there was some sort of settings i'm unfamiliar with or if I set up my os wrong with the multiple drives.

thank you!

Is the Vertex still configured as the boot drive in the BIOS? You may have changed something wrong.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.
