Does overclocking CPU affect skyrim?

Planning to mod the hell out of skyrim, wondering if overclocking my 4770k would help. As in improve performance. Its right now sitting at stock. Thanks! (Ignore my sig, that was ages ago.)

Probably not significantly. Perhaps 1-2 frames increase depending on the overclock.
