Sometime in the near furtre I'm thinking of upgrading my system, what would be a fare price to sell a 3 year old 2500K that still runs great and is a good overclocker.

Same boat dude. I have the 3770k that I got for free sort of but can't overclock. Also had the old i5-2500k and was sitting at 4.8GHz no ptoblems

Don't do it! I love my 2500k....

A good idea is to look for prices on ebay. You can select auctions that are over and look at the final selling prices.
