GTX 780Ti

VeryWetFingers
Go to solution Solved by Sauron,

If you don't get the oc version bare in mind you're not guaranteed to be able to reach that frequency. Overclock depends on luck of the draw and while the oc version mounts chips selected specifically because they are stable at those frequencies out of the box, the non-oc version vould be a terrible overclocker and not even reach 10 extra mhz.

Hey.

Should I buy MSI 780Ti LE or MSI 780Ti OC?
OC costs a little more.
I can overclock the card without problem, so what should I buy?

Roll with the OC, it comes with higher clocks, and should have a bit more headroom for more overclocking.

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.

in my currency is it $ 60

You're better off going with the non-OC version for that price difference.

Ture, but there aren't many games that a potentially bad 780Ti can't almost max out (at, I'm assuming, 1080p)... so is 60USD worth it? Not in my opinion.

Of course, I was just pointing out that if he wants/needs the extra power he shouldn't assume that he will be able to get it nevertheless even with the standard card.
