hi, so on pretty much all keyboards now there is an "Fn" key that trigger some functions when some other keys are pressed

but not all keys of the keyboard have a function with that

is there a way to create custom ones?

like a software that can do macro, open files/folders or do things like previous, next or stop media

(is the fact of pressing Fn key sending anything to the PC telling him that you are pressing it, or the keyboard just keep it for himself and send the function only when another key is pressed?)

Yes, if i recall correctly you can assign a custom shortcut for any icon/app in windows. Just go to properties.

As for more advanced thing i don't know.

Here is an example of the option. Currently no shortcut is assigned.

Here is one assigned.

EDIT2:

Only seems to work on quick icons, sorry for that, but that is the only way know it works. Just create a quick launch icon for an app then assign a shortcut for it.

but is a "Fn" key registered with this?

If by "Fn" key you mean a custom key that comes with a keyboard like the G710+ then i would guess no. I am not entirely sure about what you mean by "Fn". I was assuming you meant CTRL, ALT, and the like. I assumed this because you stated that the function would trigger when the "Fn" key was pressed with a second key. How i saw it Fn+L = ALT+L.

well like most laptops have and most of the time it is to have special functions such as screen brightness and mute on normal F1-12 keys

Probably not customisable, i think those are built into the laptop itself, and if not built then programmed. Personally i don't use a laptop so i wouldn't know for sure.
