Hello. I have a Gigabyte R9 290x Windforce and I can only get around an 1100/1350 range overclock. Using Afterburner by the way. Any more than that and i start to get lots of weird artifacts, tearing and crashing. I was able to unlock Power limit (%) and up it to +50 but i cant manage to unlock Core Voltage (Mv) I think that should fix it right? because i have tons of thermal headroom left it only tops out at around 70C. Any tips or help appreciated.

70c is really freaking nice on a 290x.

If you haven't changed the voltage yet, that would be the problem, I think. You need more power.

GPU running latest BIOS? Is it unlocked BIOS?

I cant use the voltage slider in afterburner. I've tried enabling it in settings and the cfg file. Im not sure about the BIOS and if its unlocked. never done anything with GPU bios. That could be it what i need to unlock voltage.

Gigabyte provides OC GURU with your card. Use that instead.

Hmm OC GURU causes crashes in my game or benchmarks. The voltage slider in OC Guru was unlocked though.

Have you tried using the latest AB beta version? My jiggy 290 voltage is unlocked using that.
