Hello everyone!

I was thinking of how I can maximize my current rig. I bought it last January and I was already planning on upgrading some stuff.

Below are the specs:

Processor: Intel Core Haswell i5-4670K 3.40GHz
Motherboard: ASUS Z87-A
RAM: G.Skill Rip Jaws 1600 DDR3
PSU: Cooler Master Silent 720W
GPU: EVGA GTX 650Ti
Case: Cooler Master Scout 2
Fans: (x2)Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

I was planning on adding the following in the near future:

Cooling: Corsair H100i
SSD: Intel 730 240GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TB
RAM: (x4)Corsair Vengeance 2400 DDR3
GPU: EVGA GTX 650Ti (SLI)

and going to buy 2 monitors/TV for dual setup.

Questions:

Should I consider using SLI to maximize my gaming experience? or should I just save and buy a new high end GPU?

Will I be able to obtain 4K gaming with the specs, considering I'm going to OC everything? if not, what should I replace?

What components should I consider replacing to achieve peak efficiency of my system?

What monitor/TV should I buy?

Thanks in advance guys!

Don't SLI 2 not low end GPUs please. It's better to buy 1 high end GPU instead of 2 low end in SLI.

That said I would add a SSD first because you will notice that the most. After that the H100I because you have a -K CPU why don't OC right?

4K should be possible given that you buy a very high end GPU, I honestly think that 1080P is good for now until 4k becomes more affordable. I would go with a 1080P monitor ( size is up to you) and max out the settings! :)

I5-8600K - GTX 1080 - 16GB RAM - 1.5TB SSD

I want everything pink

Noted! Can you suggest  a monitor or TV for my future setup?

Budget for the upgrade?

As of now I'm still saving for it, but I would say that it will be around $1000-$1500 for the components alone. Not including the monitors/TVs.

Also welcome to the forum!!!

Thank you!  :D
