The HD558 and the DT990 are open head phones.

My brother is using the HD558 and I'm using the DT880pro [same frame as the 990s], both are utterly comfortable, but I'd personally go for the 990s. And if I may suggest, have a look at the 880s. They're semi open reference. They don't leak as hard, and still got punchy bass ^^

I don't know about any of the ones you listed, but if you want an awesome soundstage, and comfort to game for hours on end, I'd go with the Steelseries Siberia V2 USB 2.0 headset.  I'm currently using a pair, and I've never had a more comfortable pair.  Even more comfortable than my Audio Technica ATH-M50s, with comparable sound too.  Not to mention the microphone is retractable, and is of incredible quality. I'll give you a couple of links as well.

Black and Orange

White and Blue

EDIT: Forgot to mention that they are closed-back, and block out almost all external noise.

Then I'd go for the 250 or 600 ohm 990s. But you'll need an AMP =P

Oh an correction, my brother is using the 598, those are uber comfy.

I'd go for the 990s ^^

Either

http://www.jdslabs.com/products/48/o2-odac-combo/

Or a Xonar Essence STX.

I got both, and there is a minor difference between them but the JDS Oamp LE sounds slightly better ;)

Too expensive for the DTs. Get a O2 amp at most.

If that, if needed.

But I would put my vote towards HD518's because cheaper and just as good as 558's. But my vote doesn't matter so I will see myself out.

Im going with DT 990.

If my parents let me.

They are not letting me spend MY OWN money on headphones "Becuase I already have perfectly good ones" (V-moda crossfade LP)

Im trying to explain hown they are different, for differnt uses, like a laptop and desktop.

The joys of being an adult.

By all means, the DT's are great, but regardless of budget, saving is saving.

The LE is an O2+AMP just with the power plug at the back, clinch out at the back and 6.3mm at the front. That's why I bought this one, looks better and less messy cabeling.

The O2 is the amp, and amp is not an acronym. There is no such thing as "O2+AMP". I said that the O2+ODAC was too expensive for the DT 990. For that matter the standalone O2 is overkill as well.
