looking for opinion!

Basically i have my current Build and im looking to upgrade a few things!!!!

 

Current - AMD A10-5800k, Asrock FM2A55M-DGS, 8Gb Team Elite RAM, Corsair CX430, Sapphire Radeon HD7850...

 

Im looking to Get a AMD FX-8350(preferably to overclock it at least a little) and a Sabertooth 990....for me this is a fair bit of money running at around £300.... was just wondering if it is a worthwhile purchase?

 

ill be upgrading the power supply soon as well!!!

8350 is mostly "a little" faster.. in the range of tests.

I dont care much for the sabertooth boards  they run a little hot from what ive been told, and they seem a little overpriced imo.

If cost is your concern there are a large amount of other 990fx boards that are much cheaper. What is your reasoning for the sabertooth? 5 year warranty? Color?

Main Reason was they look pretty cool and seem as though their pretty top notch.

 

Cost is a little bit of concern...im selling my xbox 360 and what not.

I am rather jealous of the way alot of intel boards look....but i dont want to change because of cosmetics haha

Well if that's what you want, they have open box ones there on the link I send you for much cheaper. You might not get all the accessories but that's up to you.

im in the UK but ill keep in mind what you said a look for others and ask for advice on another board maybe! Just from a couple of the replys it seems your paying for the "Sabertooth"

I would stay with the sabertooth option, only if u get the GEN3 version
