Im being given these parts, and i was wondering if you guys thought this would be a low end gaming rig capable of beating out an xb1. I'll be giving it to a friend of mine. I know the apu is pretty crappy, but he plans on buying a new one. And i also know that its dumb to put an apu in with a discrete gpu, but its free stuff so how can i complain?

That'll beat an XB1, but don't get an APU. If you get a GPU, you won't be using the iGPU, anyway. Spend $20 more on the CPU and get an Atlon X4 750k.

It's great! Switching the CPU in the future will turn it into a more powerful machine.

It will beat the Xbone anyway... the Xbone does BF4 at 900p, this thing will run at at 1920x1200, smoothly. Because I have one and I can.

Yeah i have a 750 ti, but i was worried the apu maybe bottlenecking on this one.
