Did you guys recommend change something?
I was thinking about Asus Rampage IV Extreme, but i saw that is, incompatible with I5 4670k. In the video-card im thinking, about GTX 780 Lightning.

Use the BBCode Markup button on PCPartPicker, makes it easier for us.

Also, use http://uk.pcpartpicker.com, because prices are different between areas.

Recommendations are to get a 4690k and get a (cheaper) Z97 motherboard. Maybe a different bran d then Zotac. Maybe a 290x if you can afford it.

Build: CPU: Intel Core i5 4690k | CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo | Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 | RAM: 8GB G-Skill Ares 1600Mhz CL9 | Storage: 120GB Samsung 840 Evo + WD Blue 1TB 64MB Cache + Seagate Barracuda 2TB 64MB Cache | GPU: MSI GTX 960 | Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer | Power Supply: EVGA 600B Non-Modular |

Switch that 4670K with a 4690K. Only ten bucks more i think. Better choice.

Look for a lower wattage PSU for cheaper.

Edit: Switch the mobo out with a better Z97 Mobo.

Get a cheaper mobo; theres very little reason to spend $300~ on a mobo when there are many great choices around $150 (MSI gaming series/G45), unless you absolutely need something that only a $300~ board has.

You should also consider getting a 120gb ssd and a 1tb hdd.

I'd personally go for an EVGA gtx780 SC w/ ACX.

You can also lose the cd drive as its literally worthless.

This!

Id recommend an Asus Series Z97 Mobo or an MSI Z97 Gaming 5 or above series mobo....

Also, if you really need/want a dvd drive, get a usb connected one.

I live in Portugal and i dont found the 4690k just the 4770k.

I have that PSU because im thinking of doing a SLI in future.

The graphic card its a MSI GTX780 Lightning that i saw, i dont know if is the best option.

mcmad358, maybe Asus SABERTOOTH Z97 ?

INstead of i5-4670K, get a i5-4690K, and a Maximus VII Hero motherboard

Like i said, here i cant found 4690k, i saw the Maximus VII Hero you recommend it or the Sabertooth?

Thank you.

ditch the Asus Maximus formula. There are mobos $100 cheaper with 90% of those features.

Unless you totally need a OC panel and the liquid nitrogen overclock, you don't need that board.

Thank you ForsakenLive.

But that is a good mobo too but pretty pricey however i feel you could get a better motherboard with more features for gaming and performance than that.

Personally, I'd get a R9 290X instead since it's cheaper and performs almost identically to the GTX 780 Ti. It costs a little more than a GTX 780, but will perform better than it.

Noise shouldn't really be an issue, so theres no real necessity to go liquid cooling, a Hyper 212 will be more than enough for most overclocking.

I'd also stick to a 120/128gb ssd.

And of course, lose the cd drive as they're ugly and terrible.

I saw some benchmarks, i really am confusing in pick the best mobo for a greater performance in gaming. What mobo you recommend?

I want buy in Portugal, the problem is that, here im not founding 4690k, just the 4690.

Take a look at the MSI Z97-GD65 Gaming, ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Professional, and the GIGABYTE GA-G1.Sniper Z97, they are all very solid choices.

What is the better in your opnion?

A nice motherboard for the price is the MSI Z97 Gaming 5: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-z97gaming5

It's £110.

The G45 and GD65 are good, but no M.2 D:

Hidden Orange, the OP has a budget of £1700... He can get a much better case then the 300r.

I'd say get a +240GB SSD if you can and it should be a no-brainer if it's the same price as an inexpensive +120GB SSD or just a little over it.

I don't know if he wants to go AIO liquid or not - I was debating on whether to go with a Hyper 212 EVO, Noctua NH-14 something or other, and a Corsair H110i.

Like I said before, I don't know much about cases which backfired when I recommended a Define R4 as joke and ended making an ass out of myself.

But theres no real reason, better he save the money and put it towards a second gpu.

250 vs 120 really isn't that big of a difference and the price difference is like $50~. 120gb is more than enough to hold almost any program one could use, and 250 certainly isn't big enough compared to 120 to hold all of ones games anyway. I've got a 256gb Crucial M4 and 1tb Caviar Blue in my gaming rig; and the only reason I have the 256 variant of the M4 is because I bought it as an upgrade for my laptop--with only one drive slot--so I actually needed the capacity. Now, I'm using 50~gb of my ssd and 300~gb on my hdd.

It's like 10 to 20 bucks more for a larger SSD... I remember when there was a sale on PNY's SSDs in the US and it was 10 more than the cheapest 120GB SSD.

Whatever... I think it'd be best if he just dropped to a 1080p monitor, geta good air CPU cooler and call it a day. 1440p in my opinion, isn't worth it right now.

My fault lol, i really thought that i had put a 1TB HDD. :P
I will keep I5-4670k then.
Liquid cooling, is useless for me, i dont wanna do any crazy overclocking.
The SSD is really a must or 1TB HDD is enough?

And of course, lose the cd drive as they're ugly and terrible.

I put the cd-drive because i already have in my actual pc and I thought in taking advantage of that, but i will follow to your opinions and i will cut the cd drive. But i will need a card reader, my camera dont have usb.

I'd get the MSI G45 or ASRock Fala1ty Killer. (personally I'd go msi)

I will see that, thank you, mate.

Eh... OP should decide for himself. Heck, if OP wanted and could afford it, OP could get the largest capacity SSD. We're just nagging, little faeries to him.

The SSD is really a must or 1TB HDD is enough?

I put the cd-drive because i already have in my actual pc and I thought in taking advantage of that, but i will follow to your opinions and i will cut the cd drive. But i will need a card reader, my camera dont have usb.

The ssd isn't for extra space, its for the speed, which will be a HUGE difference. Running the OS and frequently used high performance programs (like photoshop) see a MASSIVE improvement when loaded off an ssd vs an hdd...so much so that I honestly can't use an hdd-based computer anyway...its just painful.

Card readers are cheap and easy to come by...just got a USB one. And, if you really need a cd drive you can always get one/take the one out of your computer/buy a usb one. They're just useless for the most part, as windows can be put on a USB stick in like 5 minutes and is much faster at installing; and drivers should NEVER be taken off the cd as they're usually outdated. Not to mention cd drives ruin the aesthetics of a case.
