This may seem like a dumb question to a lot of you, but I recently just ordered parts to build my new PC, and I ordered a h100i to cool my CPU.

I was wondering, does the liquid actually travel through the fins, or does the fins just disperse the heat to the sides of the radiator?

The fins just disperse the heat. the small rods in between is what carries the coolant.
