How long does Amazon accept returns for?

I bought a MB around december, and now its acting weird, i want to return it and get a better one, not RMA it. Would they still accept it?

I had a headset for 6 months, snapped the cable and they took it back and gave me a refund. Just blame it on a manufacturing defect.
