Choosing Headset

I have been wanting to buy a headset and now i cant decide which to buy a Razer Kraken pro a Func HS 260 a Corsair 1500 v2 or a Logitech G430 or Steel Series Seberia V2 ? I want the best audio quality for games like BF4 and LOL for the best budget .Which do i Choose ? Or should I save up the money and get a new monitor ? since i am using a Dell S2330MX which sucks ahhah . Help guys ....9

The HyperX Cloud (or QPAD QH-90) are often recommended headset. Currently $99.

 

If you are open to proper headphones + external mic, there are Pioneer SE-A1000 (open) and CHC Silverado (closed) which can be found on sale for around $60 rather often (if you can order from Amazon.com). They would demolish any gaming headset from a gaming peripheral company easily. Outside of a sale, Superlux HD-681 Evo (semi-closed) is only about $40 but has amazing sound quality and really good sound stage for surround effects.

 

You can get a Zalman clip-on mic for around $10 which is as good as any gaming headset mic. Modmic 4.0 is in the $50 range for a better "clip-on" mic. For something fancier, Blue Snowflake is $40ish and Snowball iCE $50ish.

Overall i agree with Verne. Get some Superlux HD681 or HD668B.

Steelseries Siberia V2 has served me well so far. Super comfortable, great soundstage, and blocks out almost all external noise. Great for long gaming sessions.
