Hello everyone!

I have been searching for a good wireless gaming headset without no luck, I have looked into the Logitech G930, it looks good but people say that it breaks easily and has a lot of problems.

What's your guys' opinion of a good wireless gaming headset up to $200?

Thanks :D

You've had no luck because there is no "good" gaming headset. All of them in my opinion are pieces of junk. I have tried Turtle Beach, Tritton, Sony, all high end headsets which all sounded horribly, uncomfortable, everyone telling me my mic is very quiet. So I've had to return three high end headsets back to Amazon (new condition) because they were so awful. I am however, enjoying my pair of Bose QC15's. I bought a Blue Snowball microphone so I will be able to talk to friends. So I recommend that pair. If you are willing to spend a little more, look into Bowers and Wilkins P7.

Now, you know what you can expect from these barbarians. They are a race of rabid BASTARDS that will fight us tooth and nail! But they don't know what they're up against. Cyrodiil, is CIVILIZATION! Cyrodiil, is ORDER! Cyrodiil is POWER! And out here, WE. ARE. CYRODIIL.

Barf. Terrible setup for gaming.

Fact is, there is no such thing as a good wireless headphone at a reasonable price, much less a gaming headset. If you must, must, must have wireless be prepared to pay a lot of moolah for not much performance.

People also say the G35 (wired version of G930) breaks easily and I can't seem to figure out why, because I own one myself and it works flawlessly. Unless you're stretching the crap out of it when putting it on your head, you shouldn't worry about anything.

Generally speaking though, wired in theory will provide a better signal. Are you partial to wireless or would you consider the G35 (you'll also be saving money for the same thing)?

The only other wireless gaming headset that I would trust in your price range is the Corsair Vengeance 2100. Ive had both the G930 and the 2100 and the G930 is more comfortable but has alot of wireless issues. While the 2100 is extremely uncomfortable (personal opinion) but doesn't have the wireless issues of the G930.

If I were you, I would get a Sennheiser G4ME One or Zero, the can be picked up from anywhere from $180-220 on sale.

Here's the Amazon link to both

Sample size of one, says absolutely nothing about the overall reliability of the product.

In other words, manufacturing variation.

These are good headsets. To elaborate on the difference between the models - the one is an open-backed and non-collapsible, while the zero is closed and collapsible. Soundstage and imaging edge probably goes to the one, isolation, portability, and bass extension to the zero.

I know it's above but if you can save/wait.. I've been really happy with my Steelseries H - I'm not an audiophile and hardly use the mic, but they treat me well

I think people need to be a little more gentle when they're fitting the headphones over their head. The reason people complained about the G35 is because the plastic piece on top of the metal band where the cups connect to it would crack, and that would be from stretching it over the head.

The headband is supposed to stretch; it needs to in order to accomodate the full range of possible head sizes.

You don't say? :P I said people should be more gentle instead of ripping them open.

You'd have a  point if a lot of headphones had headband cracking problems. But they don't, so you don't. Unless I'm to believe that strong, violent people with huge heads only ever buy the G35, ever.

I never mentioned other headphones. I'm strictly talking about the G35 because of the fact that it's a plastic piece held by 4 small screws that's connecting the cups to the headband.

EDIT: I'm looking up some pictures and it seems like previous version of the headset only had 2 screws. Maybe I got a revised version with 4 screws to address that problem.

Personally I really don't like those headsets. They're overpriced. For the Game Zero, a used HD380 plus modmic is $120 while they charge $215 for the headset.

If you don't want Logitech then check out SteelSeries or Corsair.
