I have had BF3 for a few months, and i have noticed that my FPS decreases. When just respawning in a server my FPS is at 70+ and doesnt go below 55, But a few minutes later, my FPS drops down to 40 and doesnt go any higher or lower, it stays around 45ish my laptop gets hot. By the end of the game my temps are,75 for my GPU and 80's for my CPU Is this an overheating issue? Will a cooling pad help? Do i need to apply thermal paste? Please help me as this issue is impacting my gameplay a lot. This happens on almost all my games, the graphic intensive games, it happened it Far Cry 3. And YES all drives are up to date, and my manufacturer website says it doesnt have an update for the bios.

its a 745m... what do you expect?

edit, a cooling poad may help.

They are right about having a 745m but if it has been performing worse than normal, then I recommend a cooling pad

Cooler Temps= Allows GPU to be puhsed more
