white noise/static problem

hi people i had a problem with some hard drives and in the process i seem to have created a problem with my sound card or speakers or something i have taken sound card out and reseated it. im almost a 100% sure i didnt have this problem before it only seems to be when a bassy bit comes on and is more noticeable in some songs over others. but then again i may be completely imagining it but if anyone has/had a similar problem and would care to elaborate id be very grateful thanks :)

Only way to get rid of static is to get an external dac/amp. Sell your sound card and buy a syba dac/amp for like $40.
