If I'm not mistaken, all of the stuff recently was news and announcements, but the actual event that's open to the public is after that.

So, i have a possibly stupid question. Why did all these presentations happen yesterday, when E3 is officially starting today and going to Wednsday? On the site, it states that E3 is the 10th-12th.
