Well, the way I see it is a 4770k factory overclocked, and I like that. I'm going to use it in my build.

I want to do a review of this on my channel, putting it up against my 4770k, the biggest thing will be the cooling which looks impressive so far.

I can get my 4770k to 4.6ghz but it just runs so damn hot, nearly going to 100c even with an H110 cooling it, so I am hoping the biggest improvement is in overclocking headroom (temp wise)!

Every review I've seen so far for the 4790k is making me love my 4770k that much more. I seem to have gotten a golden chip with it running at 4.6GHz and 1.2v. Got lucky with my last cpu as well which was an i7 920 which I used for about 3 years and it stayed at 4.2GHz the whole time. If intel keeps going the way it's going I'll probably keep this 4770k for 3 years minimum as well.
