Problems with Asus RT-AC66U

Go to solution Solved by Catmanistheman,

Never mind I got it working.

I've been using this router for about a year and in that time it hasn't had a single hiccup except for very recently. Earlier this week it stopped working and after 2-3 hours of trouble shooting I got it to work and it  stayed working for about 3 days until today when it just randomly stopped working once again and I tried every thing I can think of to fix it and nothing's worked.

Some info if it helps

  • I seem to be able to connect via wireless but not wired
  • Even when connected I can't access the internet even though the router says that it's connected
  • I have tried factory reset's multiple times

I can provide more information if necessary.

If you happen to have more problems (or just want a few more features) check out the custom firmware Merlin. It's supported on most all top of the line ASUS routers and adds some cool stuff like OpenVPN. Website and download page.
