So I've had my gaming pc for about six months and everything has been working good. until one day like a dumb ass I decided to torrent a game from pirate bay. It was a really stupid idea and I knew this was shady. so yeah after that my computer got really slow and I kept getting the blue screen of death. So I decided to re-install my OS. So I did and everything was back to normal except that I noticed that when I booted up my pc it would take really long to get to the Windows screen, once I get to the windows start up its really snappy again. and then what freaked me out is that sometimes when I booted up my pc there would be no signal to the monitor at all! I had to turn it off and on again until it would get a signal.

Now everything in Windows is absolutley fine. its just my boot up process. Do I still have a virus or something?

Run MemTest overnight. Bad ram will cause intermittent boots, BSOD, slowness, all kinds of stuff.

Also run a HDD test on your boot drive just to be safe.
