So I'm interested in colour calibration for my monitor. I'm using a LG Flatron W2253V and its a pretty average monitor nothing fancy but I know the colour isn't accurate and I want to do something about it. It's a TN panel so the viewing angles are not the best but i don't really care I just want the colour to be right. I don't really know much about colour calibration other then it changes the colour based on what the sensor picked up and if i can get better colour reproduction that would be great.

Where shoudl I start?

What colour calibration hardware should I buy?

Will the colour stay when I play games?

I'm just looking for as much information as I can get.

EDIT: I'm currently trying out f.lux and so far I like it but will f.lux work with a calibrated display?
