Hey guys I am about to build a new PC very soon. I have a pretty good idea of what I want but I am always open for your suggestions. I will describe why I chose some of the parts below.

1. Budget and location.

My budget is $1700 USD but I could go up to $1750 but I would rather stay under my budget. I would like to buy the majority of the parts through Amazon because I have Amazon Prime.

2. Aim

What I want out of this build is to play the latest game such as Watch Dogs, Arma III etc... Also I might do some light CATIA work for school.

3. Parts Chosen

Like I said I am about to buy the parts soon, I am waiting for the Devils Canyon Processors. I chose the Hero because of the features that Asus offers. I went with 16 gb of RAM so I don't limit myself to a max of 16 gb plus I have the budget for it. The speed of RAM because right now it is close price wise to the 1600 or 1866 speed. I chose the Devils Canyon i7 because I want to overclock and this processor is a best. I listed the 4770k as a placeholder for the 4790k. You will notice I do not have a cooler because I already have a h105 AIO. I know the PSU is a bit much but I want it to be silent. I want it to be modular so I can get a sleeved kit for a future upgrade. I will be using WiFi so I need a WiFi card.

4. Monitors

I already have a monitor so no need for one.

5. Peripherals

I only need a keyboard.

Let me know what you guys think!

if you are doing this build mostly for gaming you can go with a i5 4690k and save money,

also noticed you want a wifi adapter, why not just change the Asus MAXIMUS for the Asus z97 Pro Wifi AC? same price and has wifi AC included

I changed the gpu to blend in better with the black & white color scheme. The Asus DirectCU II gpu does have a better noise profile, so you may want to stick with it.

Edit: update cpu cooler.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
