Hi all!

Recently I started experiencing crashes in some of my games. It starts with a black screen, but I can still hear things happening in my games and discord. Eventually it will all freeze up and I have to force restart it.

At the moment I only checked the event viewer and the different computer metrics. Event viewer doesn't give me anything. My GPU drivers are also up to date.

Regarding temperature I get max usage in some of my RTS games like Warno (this is the GPU metrics of when I see the second picture in game).

I have a feeling that my computer crashes due to overheating of my GPU? I noticed that it usually happens later in the day when the room is in the full sun and warms up of that too.

My GPU is set in the case as follows:

Could it also be choking?

I also tested my memory, CPU and SSDs but the CPU is sitting stable at lower temps, my memory and SSDs don't show any faults.

Thanks for any ideas in advance!

Ctrl + Shift + Windows Key + B is a Windows shortcut that instantly resets your graphics driver without restarting your computer.

Worth a try when the freezing occurs. Just for testing if the drivers lock up. Though if the system completely shuts down then it probably won't help.

GPU temps seem high, but not excessively. I doubt overheating is the problem.

Pax vobiscum
