I am looking for a new graphics card because my current RX 7800 XT is causing a lot of problems with drivers and hardware crashes.

The graphics cards I am currently looking at are the RTX 5070 (649.- + € 25 Gamesplanet voucher + PRAGMATA), RX 9700 (609.- + € 25 Gamesplanet voucher + Crimson Desert), and RX 9700 XT (699.- + € 60 Gamesplanet voucher + Crimson Desert).

I have no idea which one to choose for 1440p.

The games I play the most are Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, War Thunder, Rocket League and singeplayer games like Assassin's Creed and RDR2.

My current PC:
-AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
-Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7
-XFX Speedster QICK 319 Radeon RX 7800 XT Core Edition
-Corsair Frame 4000D
-Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE BLACK
-G.Skill Flare X5 F5-6000J3238F16GX2-FX5
-MSI MAG A850GL PCIE5 Black
-Kingston KC3000 2TB
-Seagate Barracuda, 3TB

Erebos: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE BLACK | Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 | G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL32 | ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 XT OC Edition 16GB GDDR6 | Kingston KC3000 2 TB | Seagate BarraCuda 3 TB | MSI MAG A850GL 850W | Corsair Frame 4000D Black | Arctic P12 PWM PST 5x | Dell G2724D | LG Ultragear 24GN600-B | Cooler Master CK550 V2 | VXE R1 PRO | Cooler Master MH752 | Edifier R980T

Old Gpu's: XFX Double D HD 7950 Black Edition, EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GAMING OC 8GB, XFX Speedster QICK 319 Core Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB

All 3 can do 1440p.  The 9070XT is the best value out of them though.

I'd say you need to figure out your issues first, before going for an AMD GPU.

I have a 7900XTX that has no driver issues or crashes.  So there may something else in your setup causing conflicts.  A new GPU won't magically fix it, since you'll be using AMD drivers still, possibly.

The last couple of weeks i already did a lot of trouble shooting with even a clean windows install and older driver versions but keeps crashing, now even only 1 of my monitors gets a signal from my gpu and recplaced the displayport cables aswell to brand new ones just in cases

AHh, you're thinking the 7800XT is failing or broken in some fashion?  That sucks.

Either way, the 9070XT for $699 is where I would be if I were you.

Hell yeah you did!

Good pairing.

Did you have SAM/REBAR enabled with the 7800XT?

I assume you have PBO/CO set up for the 7800X3D (never assuming people do it)?  If so, cool.  If not, recommend it.

have a 7900XTX that has no driver issues or crashes.

I mean that's great but I always keep getting backflashes when reading something like this... Had 3 different AMD GPUs (580, 590, 5500...) every 30 minutes "driver crash" and tons of other issues in-between, like tomb raider running at 15 fps when my 1070 could run it at like 70 etc...

Like you can only DDU so much before giving up lol

I'd rather get a matrox or Intel than amd now...   I really wanted a 9070xt, but the same issues seem to persist.

Do you use game recording, obs or otherwise?  (Cause I think that's what the real issue is... As long you don't record most of these issues don't happen)

No streaming or recording or obs or anything

Just office apps and gaming.
