yesterday i planned to build this build:

 

Chasis : CORSAIR Carbide 300R (Cheap yet classy looking from what i saw on youtube) $109

CPU : i5 4590 (came with the board) ($447)

Motherboard : MSI H97-Gaming3 (i chose this because i still know nothing about overclocking)

Ram : G.Skill RipJaw-X 1600 C9 (8GB=2x4GB) ($112)

Optical Drives : LG 12X Blu-ray RD+DVDRW ( for me to watch my bluray disc and installing my game disc) ($89)

Storage : PNY Optima 120GB ($99) for OS

Storage : Seagate 2TB 7200/64MB/SATA3 ($112) ( i need quite a huge storage for my office work and the games im gonna put on)

Graphics Card :

PowerColor R9-290 OC 4GB GDDR5($549)

 MSI R9-280-Gaming 3GB ($409) 

MSI GTX770 TF Gaming OC 2GB GDDR5 ($549)

Leadtek GTX770 Dual Fan 4GB OC ($545) 

Gigabyte R9-280X OC 3GB ($479)

ASUS R9 280X DCU-II TOP 3GB ($519)

Sapphire R9-280X Toxic OC 3GB ($489)

these are the grapics card within my budget.

Power Supply : CORSAIR CX500M (500W) modular (its cables are detatchable so it should be more clean looking and from what i hear corsaid is a good brand) ($99)

total $1406

 

this is the new build after i had discussed with the shopkeeper.As he said i didnt have to spend that much for my build.

 

Chasis : Bitfenix Prodigy black with mesh front with 300mm led blue fan $123 (collected)

CPU : i5 4590 (came with the board) ($415) (collected)

Motherboard : Gigabyte H87N-WIFI (collected)

Ram : DDR3 1600Mhz CL11 Crucial 8GB single ($90)

Optical Drives : LG 12X Blu-ray RD+DVDRW ( for me to watch my bluray disc and installing my game disc) ($89) (collected)

Storage : PNY Optima 120GB ($99) for OS (collected)

Storage : Seagate 1TB 7200/64MB/SATA3 ($75) (collected)

Graphics Card : EVGA 750Ti FTW / ACX Cooler

Power Supply : CORSAIR CX500M (500W) modular ($99)

 

totaled at $1269

 

he said 1TB should be more then enough and if i do need more storage i can use a external drives as he said some of the guys in the forum said a 750Ti should me more then enough to handle my games since i usually play at high settings.

as for the prodigy case he said its more easy to move around since I live in a HDB (public housing) because it's lighter and easy to carry and better ventelated.
