I'm planning on doing a build with the Z87 Maximus VI Gene and using the mPCI-e slot at the top of the board. I was going to purchase this:
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/intel-7260hmwwb-intel-dual-band-wireless-ac-7260-plus-bluetooth
But as it is meant for laptops it doesn't come with any antennas - could someone link something suitable as I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for. I wanted to avoid PCI-e adapters if I could as I wanted to keep them free hence why I'm going with mPCI-e.

The other alternative is a USB based one like this:
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/asus-usb-n53-usb-20-300mbps-80211b-g-n-24-5-ghz-dual-band-wireless-adaptor

Wanted to hear what your opinions were on the 2 products and feel free to recommend a different solution.

Thanks in advance

You might be looking for something like this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Antenna-Laptop-Wireless-Internal-PCI-E/dp/B00DOTLJHW/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1402183572&sr=8-3&keywords=wifi+laptop+antenna

The connectors on these are different from the ones on regular antennas (it's called U.FL apparently) so make sure you look for laptop wifi antennas when you search on the internet. These come with some sticky backing. For best reception it's probably a good plan to have the ends outside the case.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.
