X570 second hand

Hi everyone! I been offered a second hand X570 Aorus Elite at 60 USD, the only issue is that the don' have the "click" that locks the GPU on to the motherboard, is it worth it?

Seems fair as long as seller can confirm it POSTs
Make sure to remove the GPU before moving it too much

The clip is a safety feature in case your shake the case too much (like when moving). GPU will work without it if the motherboard has no other issues.

I'd request a power on test before buying to make sure the seller is not selling a dead motherboard.

I don't see the AM4 backplate and you'll need that for most coolers.

If you can secure your GPU in the back of the case with screws, and don't move or budge your case the GPU should stay seated in the slot.

That's good idea to ask the seller if they have it.

You can find one easily. Either from a recycler or from a user that had to remove that backplate on their system.
