i accidentaly clipped my keyboard usb cable with a nail clipper because i didn't put it on proper place

it's a "budget" mechanical keyboard that's priced around 25$ and only sold locally that i bough last year and according to the specification it needs DC 5V = 200mA input cable which is broken by my negligence

and so far the 2 options for cable replacement that i can find online is a USB-C to USB-A braided cable for Keychron Keyboard and some generic coiled cable which both has no mention for the input power and i'd like to get a feedback before buying

first image is the damage to the cable and the second is the keyboard itself and it's specification

sorry if my english is bad, it's not my first language

why you have to buy this USB-C to USB-A braided cable for Keychron Keyboard when you can buy a generic cable witch also do a same work? https://global.lttstore.com/products/ltt-truespec-cable-usb-type-a-to-c

Welcome to the forum!

Any old USB C to USB A is likely to work, you don't need to look them up with this keyboard or keyboards in mind at all. Choose whichever one you want

i tried my phone charger usb c to c connector that seems to work, i was afraid that i need an exact cable replacement or something similiar that's dedicated for keyboard, thanks for the respond!

That's a fair and safe assumption!

This is a USB 2.0 cable, as indicated by the inside of the USB A being white (and the number of cables we can see inside the sheathing, but you can't always see that) Being the lowest USB spec that USB C is even associated with, literally anything you get your hands on and fits those ports should work fine for this.

There are some keyboards where you would have to get a higher spec USB cable, but they are not common, and they still would work with any generic that was up to the minimum spec required. Your keyboard is not one of them, luckily.

with the exception of the cheapest cables out there that don't even have data lines in them, but those should at least have warnings on them saying that they don't support data transfer.
