I'm looking to get a new CPU and motherboard

ASUS X870 MAX GAMING WIFI7
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU

I have a Corsair iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT and I wonder if it'll fit due to the larger AM5 socket?

I know it's probably a dumb question I could've just looked for for 10 minutes, but I find it a little difficult

Not 10 minutes. 30 seconds

i have a corsair H100i RGB Platinum, i had the same exact question because i only had the AM4 bracket. yes it fits AM5, AM4 and AM5 corsair brackets (i belive all AM4 for all coolers at this point) are compatible.

i asked corsair support for an AM5 bracket but they told me it was the same as AM4

So I guess it worked perfectly fine? AM5 with AM4?

exactly, AM4 brackets and AM5 brackets are exactly the same, you don't need to buy anything else
