Want to stay under $200, Gold, modular. Its been a very expensive 2 months.

$200 is a very high budget even for a top tier PSU. If its US dollars and not Canadian :D

Remember that the Gold certification has absolutely nothing to do with quality and is only an effiency rating.

Corsair RM850x 2024 is $129, its A+ tier with 10 year warranty. Fully modular and +80 Gold. The 1000w model is $169.

They of course come with the new power cable for RTX 4000/5000.

I own 3 different RMx/RMi PSU's.

Upgrading to a 5070Ti and my current PSU only has 2 x 8 pin connectors (EVGA SuperNOVA 750 GT) , not enough for the adaptor . Any recommendations appreciated.

System specs in signature below

Ryzen 7 5800X3D , Arctic Liquid Freezer  III , Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite , Corsair Vengeance 32GB , Gigabyte RTX 5070Ti ,  WD SN850 / MP44L

Corsair RM 850x, LIAN LI Lancool 207

What is your budget and currency?

Do you want something mid-tier or do you want to go with a 10 year warranty A+Tier PSU?

Corsair RMe and RMx lineup are very solid!, MSI AGL lineup are decent for the money.

Be Quiet has some good PSU's as well.

Might as well try to get a PSU with the new 12v2x6 cable for your 5070 Ti.

We actually have an updated PSU Tierlist you can use to check out some PSU's yourself that you can find within your budget.

B and above tier is perfectly fine for midrange and high end build while we reserve C:Tier like MSI ABN lineup for more budget builds.

Use the About and Tiering Criteria at the bottom/top to read more about how everything is calculated.

No problem at all.

Its a solid PSU with 10 year warranty as mentioned.  There is a reason why I own 3.

They are also incredibly quiet, I have not once heard the fan on either of mine.

The RM850x should be regularly in stock.

If you are in the US then I see its in stock on all large websites like amazon, newegg, ibuypower etc.

The cables on the 2024 model are also individually sleeved, its a nice touch and they feel great.

You can't use a daisy chain with that card and adapter?  What am I missing?
