Hi,

I just assembled a new desktop yesterday and when i turned it on the , the monitor was not receiving any signal. i removed the GPU and plugged the hdmi cable into the MoBo and then it could start working. I managed to install in Windows but when i fitted the GPU back in, the monitor failed to receive any signal again. I checked the GPU ,and check the contacts everything seemed fine. I download a driver ( link at the bottom) for the GPU on my thumbdrive and i installed it into my computer. The monitor can now display windows and work perfectly fine , except that the GPU is not being detected. Even though my HDMI cable is plucked into the GPU, The display is still from the inbuild Graphics Card.

Additionally, as i was planning to use a wire to connect to the internet, i did not purchase a LAN card, but my new com cannot connect to the internet for some reasons.

How Do i get the internet to work and the GC to be deteced???

Thanks in advance.
