I am going to be building a new computer.

The ssd is in an old hp workstation that isn't compatible with windows 11.

Is it possible to put my boot drive in the new AMD build, without doing a fresh windows install? I want to avoid loosing all of my programs and files that I already have. The workstation is mainly used for music recording and light gaming.

Thank you in advance for your help.

It may work fine, it may give you glitches.
Just try really, it wont blow up your PC or parts.

Uninstall the Intel chipset drivers, the iGPU drivers if there's any & replace with AMD's.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post
