I'm planning on water cooling an upcoming build and am wondering if a swiftech h220 would be good for cooling a core i7 4930k and asus gtx 760 poseidon out of the box. If not, could I add another pump or radiator? I'm planning on an NZXT Phantom 820 for the case

I think you mean a 780 Poseidon

I've heard mixed feelings about that card, but I think that overall people don't like it because you get the worst of both worlds so to speak, because it doesn't do watercooling very well because it still has to work on air, and it cant do air cooling very well because there's a big water heatpipe running through the sink, Although I have no experience or any solid numbers to support these claims.

You might be able to see better performance by getting a regular 780 and buying a full cover block for you to add yourself.

I believe that you could probably add another radiator to the H220 to increase cooling performance, and iirc the H220 pump is capable of running an extra block and rad.
