omg so you can or cant?

Hi guys/girls a while back i made a post about getting another video card I have a Gigabyte 7970 and i just order a Gigabyte R9 280X . When the card get's here can i use the 280x as my main card or do i have to use the 7970 as my main card still? I stayed with the same Brand to minimize any problems.  I don't overclock to chicken shit to try lmao so everything will be running stock thank for all the help if i get any :)

You can't CF a 7970 with a R9 280X, you have to CrossFireX with another 79xx series card.

they are the same card just rebrands
