Budget (including currency): Probably around £900

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Maybe most intensive game would be Cities Skylines 2 or modded Hearts of Iron IV and modded KSP

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/bZ4HXR Already have peripherals, might buy black friday or new years, about 1080p at 60hz.

Hey, any improvements I can make on this build? All I want is for it to fit on my desk which is about 53cm wide and have the best value/performance per pound. The 4060 was chosen because I'm not sure if I want to switch to the B580. Even though it technically gains more FPS at a lower price, I'm still skeptical about the lack of features which AMD and NVIDIA have. If anyone can show me the Intel equivalant of some of the features they have, I'd be glad to be onboard, seeing Intel's response to the controversy of the NVIDIA deal.

The original base of this build was a build guide by ZTT for a "$850 Pure Performance" build but almost all the components were changed to squeeze out every last penny and get that M-ATX. Also a little bit concerned about my airflow choices since I have decided to go with just 1 somewhat high airflow exhuast fan for general cooling around the components, like the RAM and SSD, hoping that the mesh side panel will still provide enough air for the stock cooler for the CPU and the GPU fans will gain sufficient air from the mesh bottom.

I don't have any sort of requirements for Wi-Fi but I still went with this Wi-Fi motherboard since the ZTT build guide used what seems to be the exact same ATX version of it and I went with the DDR5-6400 CL32 memory since it had the same first word latency as the original base DDR5-6000 CL30 memory. I also went with the A650BN because it was one of the cheapest 650W PSUs that didn't look too sketchy and was also recommended in his PSU alternatives. I'm not sure about the non-modularity of the PSU will fare with the A3 since the space but I am planning having this taken to a local PC builder anyways but they do take an additional £65 fee so I might also do it myself too.

Which features are you referring to?

Their equivalent of upscaling (FSR/DLSS) is XESS. Their encoding/decoding hardware is decent. Ray tracing is fine. Driver overhead was an issue, but they've addressed that.

I'd be getting the 16GB 9060 XT if I could afford to stretch, but if not, this is worth watching:
