I built my PC two years ago, and I've more or less had zero problems with it. The only adjustments I've had since the initial build was installing an extra SSD and HDD. I tend to shut it off every night, and when I went to turn it back on this afternoon, it wouldn't turn on. So far, I've tried

  • Replacing the CMOS battery
  • Shorting the front panel pins
  • Booting after reseating/removing RAM
  • Booting without the GPU

Is there anything else I should try before I should rule out a faulty PSU/MB?

Thanks

Try doing a complete bare bones start, cpu motherboard ram power supply and if no guy then a normal gpu, also what are your specs.

You can also try to unplug the computer from the wall, test if there is electricity in the wall socket, plug the computer and try to boot again.

If there is electricity but the computer still won't boot at all, then testing with another PSU is a good idea.

Good luck !
