Budget (including currency): $5000-$5500AUD (3500ish USD)

Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games are pretty varied, from random indy stuff to competitive shooters to AAA single player stuff. I also do quite a bit of data science work and especially bayesian modelling on large data sets

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm running a Samsung G9 OLED as a monitor. Want to keep it as none RGB as possible since I will just turn it all off anyway

This is what i'm thinking but happy for any input

Look at a X870E board for the extra PCIe lanes.
