As the title says . Iam planning to upgrade  my gpu from a 3080ti to a 5090

normally I would have preferred a asus astral card just for its per pin reading to avoid problems before it happens however

asus astral is like 4000$ in my country and it get a water block it’s another 400 $  ( alpha cool it’s 250 $ but shipping and tax & customs will make it to 400 )

the other option is a gigabyte 5090 waterforce web . Which is a factory water blocked card . Its in my country and its 3300$ cheaper than most of 5090 and even cheaper that air cooled version of arous 5090 . But looking on forums for any information about it. , people are talking about that card as if they r talking about a myth . Every limited amount of information 1 or 2 post of people saying they got coil whine a bad at that while some people saying in their post they got the same card and it’s fine

so my question is does any one have experience with the arous 5090 waterforce wb bad or good  . It’s one of the cards that I didn’t find any molten connectors post about it . But the posts about it is soo limited so no idea

iam using a 4k 165 hz Samsung and I would love to hit an aca of 100 frames / sec at least 3080ti is struggling to keep up 60-80 consistently

Performance wise, the 5090 is a massive jump from the 3080 Ti, and at 4K/165Hz it’ll get you closer to your 100 FPS goal in modern AAA games though ultra settings with ray tracing can still dip below that.

If the price difference is $700+ in your region, I’d say the Waterforce WB is worth it unless you specifically want the extra monitoring features of the Asus Astral. Just double check warranty/RMA coverage in your country before pulling the trigger.

The idea I would love the monitoring feature but it will cost me 1100$ more which is madness .  But what do u mean about ram and warranty coverage I. My country ?

I meant RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization), not RAM. Basically, just check how warranty/returns work for Gigabyte or Asus in your country. Some regions handle RMAs locally through distributors, others require shipping abroad, which can be a hassle if something goes wrong. If the Waterforce WB is that much cheaper and warranty support is solid where you are, it makes more sense than paying $1100 extra just for the Astral.

An RMA is returning a defective product to the manufacturer or seller for a replacement or refund.

A warranty is a promise by the manufacturer or seller to support their product and help you if you have problems with it.

These types of consumer protections vary by country, even for the exact same product from the exact same company. As a general rule, a company will offer the minimum possible RMA and warranty support permitted by law or custom in a country.

So if your country has good consumer laws, you might see no questions asked return policies for a wide range of time and long warranties with favorable terms.

If you live in a country with bad consumer laws, you might have to jump through hoops to return even a blatantly defective product within a day of purchase and have effectively no warranty at all.

You'd have to look up how good Gigabyte's policies are in your country.

I would say it’s kinda average.
Like if the product is defective  . Early u will get a replacement or fixed for free

but deep down they will look for every way to bend u over and let u keep a defective product . For rma u can do it through store or directly to the company ( however  going to the company directly means endless loop)

for the void warranty sticker  yeah it voids , if they can .prove that removed it
