Ultrawide Screen Error?

I have a 34" Ultrawide OLED (same as Ploof). When I have darker windows open my screen shows a distinct border where 27" ends and it extends to 34". The colour is the same but it is brighter. Is this an error? Is it faulty? Or is this normal for Ultrawide Monitors?
